A guide to going under 3 hours
The purpose of this site is to provide you with everything you need to successfully run a sub 3 hour marathon. All the information on this site was researched and used by me when I ran my first marathon in 2005 in a time of 2:59:39.
The single most important resource on the site is a tried and tested 6 month training guide which takes you from weekend runner to sub 3 hour marathoner. When I started my training I was out of shape, and this training regime let me achieve my sub 3 hour goal in an injury, and sickness free, manner.
The website also contains information on the general nutrition guidelines I followed, as well as specific tips on running and equipment that most runners pick up through experience.
